“Creativity involves breaking out of expected patterns in order to look at things in a different way.”

She teaches dance, Yoga, and fitness, and practices her own movement through her continuous curiosity of the body, mind, and heart connection.

As a person who always felt a bit out of place doing things her own way, TL writes about her life, blending a family, her approach to whole body health, and her experience as a caregiver for her grandmother.

La Familia Lopez

Hi, it’s us. It’s me.

I talk A LOT about my partner, Rudy. This is because our relationship serves as a representation of my connection to the world and dedication to my self.

We are la familia Lopez, living & loving day in and day out. To us, this means making the most out of life by putting our health at the forefront. In addition to a healthy lifestyle, we are dedicated to growing individually and as a couple, to raise our family to be compassionate citizens of the world, and to grow together in our union of love.

To no surprise, we met on the Latin dance floor & fell in love. (We have no shame in our mushy gushiness). As things got serious, we began to navigate blending a family, with the challenges that come with it. We consider our journey to be unique, and share it with others in the hopes that it may inspire or help guide others on their own paths. As individuals, we have both had our own health journeys that have led us to where we are now – thriving on a whole food, plant-based diet, living an active lifestyle, taking care of our mental health, and caring for our loved ones.

Rudy

Rudy grew up in the small yet beautiful Central American country of El Salvador. As part of a close family, they didn’t have much, but they made the most of what they had. Rudy grew up very active, playing soccer any chance he got, and joined a dance company as a teenager. It was on tour with the company to the USA that he decided he wanted to stay to explore the opportunities. After learning English from the ground up, he has now been here for almost half his life! Rudy has worked his way up in a job that he enjoys, & has two children (now teenagers!) that are his pride and joy. He is also veryyyy excited about he & Taylor’s new baby.
